Botanical name:Butia capitata

This slow-growing palm reaches a mature size of 15' x 8'. Leaves have an arching form and vary from bluish/gray to green. Tiny yellow flowers are followed by yellow to orange fruit that is edible and delicious. Native to Brazil and Argentina.

Evergreen ground cover grows quickly to 2' x 3'. Leaves are medium green and flowers are lavender to white. Blooms year-round in frost free weather. Excellent for spilling over walls or down banks. Full sun. Very attractive to butterflies. Native of South America.

Botanical name:Gazania 'Copper King'

This perennial groundcover will grow 6"-10" tall and has soft, greyish-green foliage. Flowers are a striking blend of bronze or deep orange with red stripes. Bloom spring through summer.

Weber's Agave

Botanical name:Agave weberi

This is a striking medium-sized agave that grows at a moderate rate to 6' x 6'. The leaves are blue-green and have smooth margins. Accepts full sun or partial shade. Very frost tolerant. This is a bold specimen plant. After several years a flower stalk will appear in spring with yellow flowers. Like all agaves it will die after flowering but often produces offsets that can be transplanted.
